Good selection and prices, but the over-packaging is indefensible

Good quality products and prices, but i open up shipping box to find body lotion and deodorant items wrapped in further plastic... The planet is literally suffocating in plastic. This is no longer acceptable, if it ever was.

Bad customer service experience

I bought their sonata breast pump for 400$. Stopped working after a couple of uses. Tried contacting the customer service so many times. They assured they will send a new one. Also confirmed through email that they have sent a new one. Never received a new one and they stopped replying to my email. I don't recommend anyone to waste their money with them. Customer service is not worth the price we pay

I used to like them. No more.

I was a contented customer since about 2013 (about 8 years). In 2013, I realized how many unhealthy ingredients most products contained, and how hard it was to find products without them at local pharmacies.

Last year I read Well.ca's "Covid Updates," where they claimed to have employees use hand sanitizer, social distance, do temperature checks, and mandatory face masks. Not only are these things all unhealthy (mentally and/or physically), they are against the law to mandate (Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and the Criminal Code). I found another store to shop at, where the selection is much smaller, but I also buy from individual sellers to make up the difference. Overall I pay a little more in shipping and get less variety, but at least I'm not shopping at a place that openly brags about abusing their employees and breaking the law. Goodbye Well.ca - I'm doing fine without you.

I gotta change pharmacy

contrary to their website claims, the pharmacy in Laindon Essex, is a contradiction to this claim of service!
Not only did I call constantly for approx 45 minutes before someone answered the telephone, I was then met by a female member of staff who decided to ask me if I was able to tell her my name! (Verbatim) and when I say constantly, and I do mean as soon as their telephone system hung up after ringing for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes at a time, I immediately hit the redial only to wait again until the system again hung up the call.
Apparently this is not rude to ask someone if they are able to tell your staff their name, when they were able to telephone and enquire about a prescription held by their Laindon Pharmacy.

As I am covid positive and required this antibiotic due to my Emphysema and COPD as instructed by NHS England, who put in the prescription for me with their Laindon Pharmacy, it was decided I must attend the pharmacy as they claim not to be able to manually input my card details. Then ridiculously, despite taking 45 minutes to answer the phone initially, I was told to arrive and phone them to let them know I was outside waiting! Pointing this out seems to have been rude of me and the conversation got worse due to her attitude than the initial insult as to whether I was able to give the female staff member my name!
needless to say, I will be changing my pharmacy of choice with my GP after this

They Just Lost a Loyal Customer Over Dented Cans

After years of being a loyal customer, they refused to refund my money for two cans of dented apple pie filling unless I sent them back, even though I emailed a picture of the damaged cans. These weren't tiny dents, these were dents big enough for one of my fingers to fit in. Health Canada food safety states that if a finger fits in the dent, the product is not safe to consume, nor is it safe to consume if the dent is small but by the seam of the can.

Instead of apologizing and refunding my money, they wanted me, a disabled senior, to go stand in line at the post office, during a pandemic, to mail them back two cans that, if they practice proper food safety, they'd have to throw out when they received them... unless they plan to re-sell this possible food poison in a can to another customer?

They were adamant that they can't issue a refund, despite receiving a photo of the damaged products, unless I returned the item... even in a pandemic, even though I'm a disable senior at high risk.

Call me stubborn but I'm not going to risk my health over two cans of apples!

So, because they won't let you delete your own account on their website, I asked them to delete it for me because I will not longer be buying anything from them... which they did... and so over two damaged unsafe to eat cans of apples they lost a loyal customer of many years.

If I wanted to risk food poisoning by eating food from dented cans that Health Canada says is not safe to consume, I certainly wouldn't be paying the top dollar Well.ca charges, I'd go to the discount bin at a discount food store. But I wouldn't eat food from cans this dented even if they were given to me for free.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Placed an order and received tracking information on December 23. January 7 contacted the shipping company as there was no movement on the package, to be told that they had not received it. Contacted well.ca, sent them info they requested, did not hear back until I contacted them again to be told looking into it wait 4 days, then informed my items were now out of stock and given refund, kept blame with the delivery service. When I called to speak to someone - the call was disconnected.

Great customer service!

Great company. I have ordered from them several times. They usually ship fast and their prices are competitive. The last time I ordered there was an issue with one item. I contacted them about it and they quickly rectified the situation by refunding me for the damaged item. Great customer service!

Dangerously Unreliable

For the third time in a row, Well.ca failed to deliver my prescription. I only have enough for tonight, now, and I'm not supposed to go cold turkey. They're closed tonight and for the next two full days. I have no way of transferring my prescription. I'm in big trouble thanks to them.

Don't waste your time and money.

Well.ca has done it again

Well.ca has done it again! I have made several orders with well.ca and have always been happy, but this time they went above and beyond. I placed an order for a few items December 22, fully expecting them to arrive close to January. They were picked, shipped and arrived before noon December 24th!! What a wonderful surprise!!
